Description:
Works under the clinical supervision of the practice physician(s) and office manager and is responsible for assisting the physicians in the practice. Assists in examination and treatment of patients, interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e.: pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients charts. Also draws and collects blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
Candidates must hold a valid certification or license such as MA, CNA, LPN, or EMT from Florida and possess Basic Life Support certification. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are required for this role.
