About the role

The Physical Therapist evaluates patients and implements effective treatment plans to achieve functional goals. They are responsible for documenting treatment results and educating patients on the use of assistive devices.

Overview

The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices.

Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly.

The Option 3 Physical Therapist will work in a minimum of two of the following settings of care: Acute Rehab Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital and Outpatient Rehab.

Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues, as well as post-surgical orthopedics, cardiac, multi-trauma and debility for both adult and pediatric populations.

This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.

Licensure

Licensed Physical Therapist Required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Required Master's Degree Physical Therapy Preferred Experience

2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Preferred. NICU experience required

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapist license and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Previous NICU experience is strictly required for this role.
