The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs respiratory assessments and administers care procedures for patients across all age groups in acute and critical care settings. They work under the direction of Pulmonary Services leadership to develop critical thinking skills while adhering to hospital policies.

Candidates must hold an associate degree from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program and possess a valid Wisconsin state license. Required certifications include BLS, with additional requirements for RRT, ACLS, and NRP to be obtained within specified timeframes after hire.
