The Physician Assistant is responsible for evaluating patients, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests under the direction of a physician. They also develop patient management plans, perform clinical procedures like suturing and wound care, and provide patient education on health maintenance.

Evaluates patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and gathers patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.

Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results.
3.
Performs treatment procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
4.
Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
5.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
6.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
