Serving over 70,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level III NICU, heart care, wound care and surgical services.

One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes.

You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care.

Provides effective,comprehensive evidence based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.

Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.

Collaborates with other disciplines to insure comprehensive, holistic and effective plan of care.

Applies knowledge of current practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules and regulations.

Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing or escalating issues.

Serves as a patient advocate.

ASSESSMENT: Completes patient assessments competently.

Assesses for and identifies needs of unit-specific patient population: Assesses for and identifies any physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, discharge and cultural needs.

PLANNING: Completes an individualized plan of care based on assessment of the patient.

Coordinates with other disciplines when indicated.

Prioritizes care needs and sets measurable goals and time frames.

Includes patient and family in the planning.

IMPLEMENTATION: Implements interventions based on nursing and medical plan of care.

Manages patient population, diagnosis and age specific needs through appropriate adaptation of interventions.

Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies (including following established policies, procedures and protocols governing the transport, handling and processing).

EVALUATION: After implementation, reassesses the patient to verify effectiveness of interventions.

Updates the plan of care to reflect current care needs.

Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e..

LOC change, vital signs, test results)in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.

Job Requirements Required Graduate of a Registered Nursing program Registered Nurse: CA Basic Life Support - CPR Preferred Bachelors of Science in Nursing and 6 months of clinic experience.

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a Registered Nursing program and hold a valid California Registered Nurse license along with Basic Life Support (CPR) certification. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and six months of clinic experience are preferred.
