Scheduled Weekly Hours: 30 Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Technician/EMT or Paramedic to join our highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team as we provide excellent quality care to over 68,000 patients of all ages annually.

What You'll Do: As an Emergency Department Technician/EMT/Paramedic you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our patients in a safe environment promoting long-term recovery.

In this department, Emergency Department Technicians are expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a professional multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, Emergency Department Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers.

Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms that serve every patient population from infancy to the elderly.

Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services.

We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities.

Emergency Services, a 2023 Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award recipient, is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to find anywhere else in the nation.

What's Available: Part-time, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE).

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a current NREMT or Wisconsin EMT-Basic certification. A current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification is also required.
