The Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe and therapeutic outcomes. They will utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to foster a safe environment and positive patient experience.
Atrium Health Mercy is a 196-bed facility of Carolinas Medical Center (CMC). Located 1.3 miles from CMC, Mercy is one of two Carolinas Medical Center locations. Atrium Health Mercy is Magnet designated in Nursing Excellence and is also a Planetree designated patient-centered hospital. For more than 100 years, Atrium Health Mercy has treated approximately 80 - 110 Emergency Department and 130 - 212 in-patients daily with a special combination of human compassion and leading-edge expertise. Atrium Health Mercy is a full-service community hospital, specializing in the care of seniors and in complex foot and ankle surgery, hip and knee surgery, bariatric surgery, and women’s pelvic health.

Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. At least 6 months of inpatient nursing experience is required, with 1 year preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
