The Registered Nurse maintains established standards of care by assessing patient needs, planning and delegating care, and evaluating patient outcomes. They are responsible for delivering professional nursing care in a fast-paced surgical trauma ICU environment.

Education required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license required. BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS must be obtained within the first six months of employment and maintained current Experience: Required Additional skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently. Must have knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Nursing Service Procedure Manual. Department specific competencies must be completed within the provisional period.
