The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessments, administers medications, and executes therapist-driven protocols for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have completed Level I and II therapist competency requirements. Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan. Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). At least six (6) months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience BCLS certification.
