Ultrasound Technologist General/Breast - Float Location: Suffolk County, NY Hours/Shifts: 4/10 hour shifts, Mon, Wed-Fri (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Tuesday Organization: New York Imaging (NYI) Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams.
general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, as well as breast (screening, diagnostic, procedural) Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent) RDMS Breast required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience Strong communication and organizational skills
