The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care in an outpatient clinic, including preparing patients for exams and assisting providers with treatments. They are also responsible for medication administration, maintaining patient flow, and performing clerical tasks within the electronic medical records system.

High school diploma or equivalent required Six months of MA experience or successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program from an accredited school required Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 90 days of hire BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required Maintains current certifications in required emergency response training (i.e. BLS) We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
