The Surgical Technologist will float across various hospital locations to provide surgical support and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. They are responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining professional practice standards within the operating room.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of a surgical technologist training program is required. Eighteen (18) months of scrub tech experience in an acute care operating room may substitute for the training program requirement. Two (2) years of acute surgical technologist experience is required. One (1) year of the experience must include at least two (2) specialty areas (i.e., orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, etc.). Required to have and maintain BLS through American Heart Association. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification issued through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred. Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility. Ability to complete the orientation and training. We have different options to choose from that will meet your schedule.
