Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Take vital signs and accurately record medical history Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Assist the dentist during procedures and exams Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Schedule appointments

Qualifications

a one (1) year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Assistants must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a dental assistant. Dental Radiological Certificate is mandatory. Dental Assistants are required to hold a current BLS and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification A valid Tuberculosis (TB) test is also required. Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a one-year CODA-accredited dental assistant program and possess at least one year of experience. Mandatory certifications include a Dental Radiological Certificate, BLS/CPR, and a valid TB test.
