The Inpatient Therapist provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients. Therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and treatment team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient. Therapists will complete assessments, facilitate treatment planning, provide group therapists, and meet with patients individually. Job Duties: Individual and group therapy Psychosocial assessments and treatment planning Child and Family team meeting facilitation Job Requirements: Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field License: State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field; LCSW, preferred Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention, preferred. Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT experience, preferred. Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related clinical mental health field and possess a relevant state license. Previous experience in a psychiatric facility with expertise in therapy, case management, and crisis intervention is preferred.
