Position Status: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
Effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
Maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.
Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
Complete appropriate documentation.
Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data.
Promote privacy and comfort for the patient.
*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)). Amount offered may vary in an amount of up to $7,500 depending upon experience level and qualifications.

Candidates must have completed a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred, along with two years of mammography experience.
