Why Join Our Team? ✔ Competitive Per Diem Pay: $55–$65/hour DOE ✔ Flexible Scheduling ✔ Supportive Interdisciplinary Team ✔ Rewarding Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Environment ✔ Opportunity to Positively Impact Residents and Families ✔ Collaborative Workplace Focused on Compassionate Care What You’ll Do As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Pines at Placerville, you will: Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams Educate residents and caregivers on aspiration prevention, communication strategies, and maintenance programs Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and utilization reviews Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and students as applicable Assist with staff education and restorative nursing training Help residents maximize independence, safety, and quality of life

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current California Speech Language Pathologist License and possess at least a Bachelor's degree. Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
