Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) – OB/GYN Tufts Medicine OB/GYN Braintree | Braintree, MA Tufts Medicine OB/GYN- Braintree is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our growing ambulatory OB/GYN practice in Braintree, Massachusetts.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care across the continuum of women's health.
The ideal candidate will have prior ambulatory OB/GYN experience and be comfortable practicing independently in an outpatient setting.
Candidates who have completed a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program are strongly preferred; however, Family Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, Physician Assistants with significant ambulatory OB/GYN experience are encouraged to apply.
How you'll transform patient care: Independently provide comprehensive outpatient women's health care, including annual well-woman examinations and preventive care.
Provide routine obstetric care, including prenatal, postpartum, and routine obstetrical follow-up visits.
Perform gynecologic evaluations, pelvic examinations, cervical cancer screenings, contraceptive counseling, and routine office procedures within scope of practice.
Assess, diagnose, and manage common obstetric and gynecologic conditions in the outpatient setting.
Order, interpret, and communicate appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory results.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while coordinating care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Provide patient education regarding pregnancy, postpartum recovery, contraception, menopause, reproductive health, and preventive care.
Assist with telephone and nursing triage as needed, ensuring timely assessment and coordination of patient care.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and ancillary services when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Who you are: Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Clinician program (Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Physician Assistant, or other applicable advanced practice program).
Current Massachusetts licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician appropriate to discipline.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Advanced Practice Clinician program with current Massachusetts licensure. Prior ambulatory OB/GYN experience is strongly preferred, along with the ability to perform independent examinations and clinical assessments.
Women's Health Nurse Practitioner training or certification preferred.
Family Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, Physician Assistants, and other Advanced Practice Clinicians with significant ambulatory OB/GYN experience are encouraged to apply.
Prior outpatient OB/GYN experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to independently perform annual examinations, routine prenatal visits, postpartum care, and outpatient gynecologic evaluations strongly preferred.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.
Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered women's healthcare in a collaborative outpatient practice.
