Electrophysiology Technologist - La Jolla
The CV/EP Tech is responsible for patient monitoring and performing diagnostic or therapeutic cardiovascular technology procedures. The role requires flexibility to work varied day shifts, late shifts, and occasional Saturday call responsibilities.
This is a casual (per diem) position working 10-hour varied day shifts.
The role requires flexibility throughout the week, with approximately 1–2 scheduled shifts per week.
Team members are also required to work one or more late shifts during each 5-week scheduling period.
Call responsibilities include one Saturday shift approximately every six weeks.
This position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or a minimum of six months of recent experience in an Interventional Cath Lab. Technical competence in aspects of patient monitoring, diagnostic/therapeutic Cardiovascular Technology. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
RCIS and /or RCES Scrub, circulate, and monitor in EP and Cath Lab experience Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or have at least six months of recent Interventional Cath Lab experience. A current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
