Job Summary
Prepares operating rooms i.e., restocking linens in room and placing trash in biohazard bags in appropriate containers, etc. Provides basic patient services, under direct supervision and according to established standards.

Essential Functions
Prepares operating rooms for first case of the day by ensuring bed is made, restocking linens in room, placing trash, linen, and biohazard bags in appropriate containers, etc.
Assists in transportation of equipment/supplies to and from rooms, ensuring proper handling and storage. Orders/restocks supplies as assigned.
Ensures instruments, equipment and items belonging to the hospital are maintained.
Completes unit-specific required competency assessment and continuing education activities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
