• Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing
• Assistant
• Certification preferred
• Current
• BCLS certification
• Experience: Preferred, but not required. May obtain on the job.
• Language
• Skills: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Clinical
• Skills: Basic patient care skills including; but not limited to weights, baths, and vital signs.
• Physical/Mental
• Demands: Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk, and bend intermittently throughout the work day. Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must possess sigh/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable the applicant to adequately fulfill the requirements of this position. Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned. Performs independently, within department's policies and procedures, referring universal problems to RN Charge Nurse or Department Director. Accountable for following scheduled policies and adheres to posted work schedule. Arrives to work on time, dressed appropriately. Wears Identification Badge while on duty. Answers call lights in a courteous and timely manner. Keeps Charge Nurse/Department Director informed.
