The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including hygiene, safety, and nutritional support. They are responsible for accurately documenting patient status and reporting changes to the nursing team in a timely manner.

We also are a Pathway to Excellence-designated hospital, recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as being one of the best hospitals for nurses to work. We provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Summit County and the surrounding region, including surgical, emergency/trauma, critical care, birth center, orthopedics, breast care, digital mammography, breast MRI, radiology and imaging, infusion therapy, nuclear medicine, cardiology, oncology, Summit Sleep Disorders Center, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), gastroenterology and Total Joint Replacement. In addition to 24/7, Level III emergency care at St. Anthony-Summit Hospital in Frisco, we have three emergency mountain clinics at the base of the Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone resorts, as well as urgent care and primary care available from CMG High Country Healthcare clinics in Frisco, Breckenridge and Silverthorne. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission. Every day you will perform vital patient care tasks, support nursing staff, and actively participate in a supportive team environment where your skills and experience are highly valued, with clear pathways for professional development and career advancement. To be successful in this role, you will be committed to practicing at the top of your license, possess a strong work ethic, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic healthcare team. Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs. Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner. Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse. Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records. Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. We are offering a $2,000 seasonal incentive bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility bonus. **$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer.*

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and be a graduate of a Nursing Assistant program with a state-registered CNA license. Six months of previous healthcare experience is preferred.
