About the role

The Radiology Technologist performs highly complex diagnostic exams and coordinates specialized equipment, radiation safety, and quality assurance. They are responsible for maintaining inventory, film processing, and ensuring patient safety while devising alternate solutions when standard procedures fail.

The Radiology Technologist must be certified in Fluoroscopy and must have experience in MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study).

This position is part time 5 days per week, 24/25 hours per week.

There is flexibility with the shift times.

The pay range for this position is $35p/h-$55p/h.

The Radiology Technologist performs highly complex exams as part of the diagnostic team.

This individual coordinates specialized equipment, calculates technical factors, radiation safety, maintenance of equipment, quality assurance and film processing, and maintains adequate inventory.

This individual must be alert to potential problems with the patient or the equipment and be able to devise alternate means of accomplishing the objective if standard means fail.

Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements. - Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking. - Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch are required for patient care functions and in setting up and monitoring equipment
