Personal Care Assistant

Senior Helpers of East Brooklyn is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing
• Light housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation
• Provide caring companionship through conversation
• Engage in the client's hobbies to support emotional well-being
• Reminding clients to take their medications as prescribed
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Requirements

• Valid New York State PCA Certification.
• Valid license, registration, insurance for reliable personally owned vehicle.
• Experience in senior care in community, facility, or home care settings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Required immunizations.
