QMA
The Qualified Medication Aide is responsible for administering non-parenteral medications to residents in long-term care facilities. They must follow physician treatment plans and established facility policies under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Qualified Medication Aides (QMA) in the state of Indiana are permitted to administer non-parenteral medications in long-term care facilities in accordance with a physician’s plan of treatment and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. QMAs are not allowed to do invasive procedures and assessing. The QMA is expected to follow the instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures.
This position is eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
24 hours per week - Second Shift
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Every Other Weekend: Valid QMA in State of Indiana
