About the role

Pay for this role is about 17% above the Madison, Wisconsin median for allied health roles.

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using specialized radiographic equipment and detectors. Maintain imaging equipment, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday with start times ranging from 6

20AM – 8:30AM. Saturday rotation at East Madison Hospital. Home location is 1 S. Park Street Clinic, but you will float to University Hospital, East Madison Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay

UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefit package. Relevant work experience will be taken into consideration. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – CT to

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors.

Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolation precautions when needed.

Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
  • Work Experience

Requirements

Requires graduation from a School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT Radiography certification upon hire. Must obtain ARRT Computed Tomography certification within 30 months and CPR certification within 30 days.
