19.00 - 25.50 sign on bonus available Union Position: No Department Details Responsible for collecting blood units from donors at blood drives or in donor rooms. Duties include performing vital signs, donor interview, phlebotomy and post donation care. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. Summary Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.
Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Sanford is an EEO/AA Employer M/F/Disability/Vet.
