Visas Accepted N/A Specialty Internal Medicine Practice Details Sanford Health is currently seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join their growing team at Sanford Health Clinic in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Established two-physician practice along with three nurse practitioners providing geriatrics services at local long-term care and assisted living facilities.
Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am -5:00pm . Option to work 4 or 5 days a week with flexibility on start and end times. Call expectation is 7 weekends a year and 1 day per week mainly for clinic call. Hospitalist program at hospital.

Job Description
Internal Medicine Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examinations, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnosis, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems.
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Experience can be demonstrated in one of the following ways and should be reflective of the privileges being requested: An applicant who has just completed residency shall provide their residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations, as applicable.
- OR An applicant who is not applying directly out of a residency shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the last 12 months, to include number of procedures performed-morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications.
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services to be at least 50 patients in the last 12 months.
- OR If a quality profile is not available from the hospital(s) where the applicant currently has privileges, documentation of the applicant’s clinic activity for the last 12 months is required.
