Physical Therapy Assistant
The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist physical therapists in conducting treatments and patient education programs. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress, documenting conditions, and assisting with student or staff orientation.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work with our Rehab Services Department.

Assistant will assist the physical therapist in the planning and conduction of various physical therapy treatments and patient education programs.
Incumbent will observe, record and report on patient's condition, reaction and response to treatment to the physical therapists.
Assists in scheduling and prompt recording of patient charges.
Also, assists in training and orienting students, new employees or volunteers.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma and an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program. A valid West Virginia State Board of Physical Therapy license is required, along with the physical ability to lift heavy equipment and support patients.
