Operating out of a spacious 7-operatory practice in Boise, our close-knit team-currently structured with 2 Dentists (Dr. William "Doc" Carter & Dr. Jason Carter), 3 Dental Assistants, and 2 Front Desk Coordinators-prides itself on a supportive, patient-centered environment. With an associate doctor joining our practice in the coming months, we are expanding our clinical team! We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of experience who is ready to grow with a stable, long-running family practice. Here is what makes our practice a great place to work: Practice Stability & Heritage: Join an established, reputable family practice with a long-standing legacy in Boise preparing for exciting growth. Full-Time Hours: Enjoy a consistent 36–40 hour workweek Monday through Friday. Collaborative Team Dynamic: Work alongside an experienced, supportive back-office team in a spacious 7-operatory clinic. Competitive Pay & Benefits: Earn $18.00–$22.00/hour (based on experience) with access to our standard practice benefits plan. What You'll Be Doing (The Role) As our Dental Assistant, you will play an integral role in keeping our clinical flow smooth, efficient, and comfortable for every patient: Chairside Assisting: Partner closely with our doctors during general, restorative, and preventive dental procedures. Patient Care & Preparation: Seat patients warmly, review medical histories, explain treatment steps, and maintain a comforting, reassuring chairside presence. Digital Radiography: Take clear, diagnostic digital dental X-rays efficiently. Operatory Setup & Sterilization: Prepare, sanitize, and break down treatment operatories; sterilize instruments in accordance with safety and OSHA guidelines. Clinical Teamwork: Assist with clinical charting, maintain dental supply inventory, and partner with front desk staff to optimize daily patient flow. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience (Required).

Certifications

Active Dental Radiography (X-Ray) Certification preferred.

Clinical

Skills: Proficient in chairside assisting techniques, instrument sterilization, digital X-rays, and dental terminology.
