Why Our Veterinary Technicians Love It Here Two-day workweek with a consistent Friday and Sunday schedule Veterinary Technicians who are respected, trusted, and well utilized Busy, well-established, AAHA-accredited practice High standards of medicine and patient care Supportive, skilled team that values collaboration Opportunities to continue developing your technical skills Professional development and continuing education support Convenient Upper West Side location near Lincoln Center What Our Veterinary Technicians Do Provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient nursing care Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, and oral medications Manage patient admissions and discharges Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement Assist with surgical procedures Induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients from anesthesia Perform radiology and dentistry procedures Complete accurate drug calculations Run in-house laboratory testing and prepare reference laboratory requisitions Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Dispense medications according to veterinarian orders Perform technician appointments Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care What You’ll Bring Current Veterinary Technician licensure or relevant Veterinary Technician experience Strong technical and patient-care skills Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and laboratory procedures A passion for veterinary medicine and high-quality patient care Clear, compassionate communication with clients and teammates Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A dependable, collaborative, team-first approach Ability to safely lift and handle patients with assistance as needed Commitment to continued learning and professional growth The Extras You’ll Actually Feel At Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital, you’ll work alongside a skilled team in an AAHA-accredited hospital where your knowledge, experience, and contributions are genuinely valued.
