One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
Operation of Cardiac Ultra Sound EquipmentAble to perform a complete array of Diagnostic Ultra Sound Procedures as ordered by a Physician.Able to select proper probe to obtain excellent results for Cardiologist interpretation.Able to trouble shoot equipment in determining possible failure.Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies and 1-3 years Technologist will have a minimum of 1 year experience performing 2-D, M-Mode, and Color Flow Doppler Echo's on adults., upon hire or Technologist will have graduated from aCardiac Echo ultrasound program., upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire Preferred Experience and competence in performing Echos on Pediatric patients, upon hire
