About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist will diagnose and treat speech and language problems across outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings. They are expected to work both independently and within a team to deliver superior patient care.

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our outstanding team of healthcare professionals in a multi-setting center: a dedicated outpatient center, a small swing bed inpatient division, and an exciting home health team. This position is not slated for a CFY so applicants must be a fully licensed, "stand-alone" SLP.

What you need for this position

  • Previous medical experience specializing in diagnosis and treatment of speech and language problems
  • Speech Language Pathology Degree
  • Illinois SLP license or ability to obtain a Illinois SLP license is required

Our ideal candidate will have

  • A Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Pay

Ranges from $38 - $55/hour

Requirements

Applicants must hold a degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a valid Illinois state license. Candidates are also required to maintain CPR/AED/BLS certification and demonstrate strong professional communication and computer skills.
