Pyramid Healthcare’s Hillside treatment center provides specialized detox and residential treatment specifically for men, addressing the unique challenges they face in recovery. Our detox program offers a medically-supervised environment where men can safely withdraw from substances while receiving 24/7 support from experienced professionals. This initial phase is crucial in stabilizing clients physically and emotionally, setting the stage for lasting recovery.
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical and/or psychiatric evaluation, assessment, medication management, care coordination, and ongoing treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams and internal and external healthcare providers to support high-quality, person-centered care in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and professional practice standards.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee may occasionally climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch.
The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and seldom up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position operates in clinical, healthcare, office, residential, and behavioral health treatment environments. Local travel may be required based on operational needs, and employees may be required to provide their own transportation. Employees may interact with individuals experiencing psychiatric, behavioral health, substance use, or crisis-related situations and may encounter exposure to viruses, diseases, infections, and emotionally sensitive or traumatic situations during the course of providing services.
This position may be subject to state or local wage transparency requirements.
