About the role

The CNA will perform daily living activities for residents, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and documenting health status. They are also responsible for reporting sudden changes in resident conditions to licensed staff and maintaining accurate daily charts.

We are hiring a part time CNAs to join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to carrying out resident activities of daily living. If you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to make a difference every day, then this role may be for you! What You Will Do:

Take and record vital signs and conditions such as weight, height, and skin condition.

Assist with details such as listing clothing and valuables, making introductions and helping with admissions and discharges.

Assist residents in hygiene and grooming including baths, hair care, oral hygiene, and skin care.

Assist residents with feeding. Chart intake of food and fluids.

Change bed linens, care for personal laundry.

Maintain a variety of basic reports and chart residents' ADL daily; give report to licensed personnel prior to shift change.

Report immediately all sudden changes to licensed staff.

Who You Are

You enjoy working with people and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You can use tact and courtesy in dealing with residents under sometimes trying conditions. You can show patience and understanding. You enjoy variety in your day and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited training course for Nurse Aide certification. Current CNA certification. Current CPR and First Aid certifications for Assisted Living and Memory Care. Must have current CA RCFE Medication Technician certification to be eligible to perform Med Tech duties.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a current CNA certification. Additionally, they must have current CPR and First Aid certifications, with a CA RCFE Medication Technician certification required for specific duties.
