The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for communicating with the care team and operating specialized therapy equipment.

This position, at the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for the physical therapy treatment to patients and assisting the physical therapist. The position is also responsible for communication with patients, physicians, nurses and other personnel regarding patient care, for operating physical therapy equipment, and performing assistance in projects and duties within the departments as directed by the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications

Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold a valid Washington state license. A National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required upon hire.
