About the role

The Dental Assistant will welcome patients, assist the doctor during procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile environment. They are also responsible for managing lab supplies and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to)

Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room. Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient. Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience. Actively monitor lab materials and supplies. Develop a relationship with the patient. Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines. Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed. Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs. Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant, open to a newer DA High school diploma or GED.
  • Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications
