We are seeking a Lab Process Technician to join IQVIA Laboratories in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Summary: Prepare biological samples for subsequent laboratory analysis using established techniques, procedures, and instrumentation.

This role performs routine testing and sample processing while supporting laboratory quality, safety, inventory, and documentation requirements.

What You'll Be Doing: Prepare biological samples using routine techniques, including extraction, tissue preparation, purification, homogenization, and compound solubilization Sort and accession received samples, verifying that barcodes and subject information match expected shipments Prepare solutions and reagents, perform laboratory calculations, and document observations and processing activities Conduct and document testing in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines Identify potential processing errors or unusual results and escalate them to senior laboratory personnel Operate and help maintain laboratory equipment, automated instrumentation, and applicable laboratory information management systems Maintain laboratory supplies, notify inventory staff of shortages, and support laboratory housekeeping in accordance with 6S standards Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and support training, onboarding, procedure development, and continuous improvement activities What We Are Looking For: A bachelor's degree in a life sciences discipline, or a high school diploma or equivalent with an equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency with pipetting techniques Experience working with automated or specialized laboratory equipment Proficiency with routine and selected non-routine laboratory calculations involving batches and specimens Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory Practices Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The

Needed for This Role: Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection-control practices, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, timely documentation Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a regulated laboratory environment Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Understanding of assigned laboratory responsibilities and the ability to troubleshoot routine processes appropriately
