Conduct comprehensive, good-faith patient examinations, including review of medical history, to evaluate patient needs and determine clinical suitability for aesthetic medical procedures and treatments offered by the practice; Perform aesthetic medical procedures and treatments, including but not limited to injectables, cosmetic light and energy-based therapies, and other procedures involving the skin, face, and body; Accurately and promptly document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR); Provide comprehensive patient care, including management of acute complaints and follow-up visits, as directed or supervised by the physician(s) or other authorized senior providers; Promote patient retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care; Provide patient education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare; Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice; Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required; Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions; Assist other providers with their patients and the practice's needs as directed; Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed; Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member; Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements; Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment; Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position; Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetic medicine; and Remain current with the latest evidence-based practices and emerging literature in aesthetic medical procedures to ensure delivery of safe and up-to-date patient care
Candidates must hold a current Physician Assistant license in California and possess experience in a clinical or bedside hospital setting. Experience as a nurse injector is preferred, along with a professional and compassionate bedside manner.
