About the role

Pay for this role is about 6% below the Madison, Wisconsin median for support services roles.

Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures while assisting patients with activities of daily living and mobility. Engage with patients and their families to establish trusting relationships and ensure high-quality care.

Work Schedule

  • 100% FTE, Monday through Friday role, working 10-hour shifts.
  • The start time ranges between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., depending on scheduling and operational needs. There is also an on-call requirement, need to report to Hospital within 1 hour, which includes weekend and holiday rotation. On-call shifts may be day or night, again based on department needs.

Pay

External hires may be eligible for up to a $3000 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). NA Positions include a weekend and evening/night shift differential.

Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.

Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program Required

  • Work Experience
  • 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
