Must be customer oriented and committed to customer service Have proper assessment skill to detect changes in resident condition Required to perform medication passes in accordance with state regulations for a residential care facility Oversee and direct STNAs and CNAs within the realm of their job description RNs represent nursing as a team player to other departments throughout the facility Communicate any changes in condition of a resident to the doctor, family and Director of Nursing Assist with hands on care when required or requested by other personnel or a resident Work toward maintaining each residents self-respect, personal dignity and safety Encourage residents to exercise their resident rights Understand the facility must be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and holidays Understand the you will be on call at time for the Director of Nursing All other duties as assigned RN Required license or certification: RN must have Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university A current, unencumbered, active Ohio RN license Current CPR Experience with PointClick Care preferred, but not required At least one year experience in Elderly Care preferred. Pre-employment requirements: Physical Background Check Mantoux (TB) Test Briarfield is a Drug Free Work Place
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered Ohio RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited program. At least one year of experience in elderly care and proficiency with PointClick Care are preferred.
