Duties and Responsibilities

Must be customer oriented and committed to customer service Have proper assessment skill to detect changes in resident condition Required to perform medication passes in accordance with state regulations for a residential care facility Oversee and direct STNAs and CNAs within the realm of their job description RNs represent nursing as a team player to other departments throughout the facility Communicate any changes in condition of a resident to the doctor, family and Director of Nursing Assist with hands on care when required or requested by other personnel or a resident Work toward maintaining each residents self-respect, personal dignity and safety Encourage residents to exercise their resident rights Understand the facility must be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and holidays Understand the you will be on call at time for the Director of Nursing All other duties as assigned RN Required license or certification: RN must have Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university A current, unencumbered, active Ohio RN license Current CPR Experience with PointClick Care preferred, but not required At least one year experience in Elderly Care preferred.
