Endoscopy Tech
The GI/Endo Tech assists registered nurses in preparing patients for procedures and providing post-operative care. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.

· Assists Registered Nurse in preparing patients for procedures, and caring for them post-op.
Checks pre/ post op area for cleanliness and orderliness.
Brings the patient to pre-op area and assists with changing if needed.
Takes vital signs.
Makes sure all pre-op testing, H&P, and necessary paperwork are on chart prior to surgical procedure.
Transports patients to and from procedure rooms.
Maintains supplies and equipment.
Restocks carts.
Directs family members.
Includes family / patient in post-op instructions.
Coordinates patient transportation.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
Participates in QAPI, Infection Control and Safety Program.
Education: · High School Diploma or equivalent
· Experience or interest in healthcare industry.
· Knowledge of GI procedures.
