Job Summary and Responsibilities Hixson PRN Hours Vary As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Uses two patient identifiers Compares doctor’s order to requisition for accuracy Performs the correct exam Includes all anatomy required to produce an adequate exam.
Demonstrates continued competency in using PACS Routinely demonstrates the ability to prioritize workload.
Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited Radiology program, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months Preferred High School GED General Studies and 1-3 years, upon hire or High School Graduate General Studies and 1-3 years, upon hire and
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiology program and hold ARRT certification within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required upon hire.
