About the role

The Registered Dietitian will provide individualized nutrition therapy and develop care plans for clients with eating disorders. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor medical conditions and provide ongoing nutritional education and support.

Position Overview - Remote, must be licensed in Ohio As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients.

You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring on-going medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team.

You will work directly with patients and their families providing support and nutritional education.

  • Recovery: Provides individualized nutrition therapy to all assigned patients. Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Provides group nutrition education as assigned. Supports plating and provides active meal coaching/support for clients in Therapeutic Supported Meals as assigned. Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning. Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care. Documents all nutrition care in a clear, concise, and professional manner using the EHR, in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian credential required. Current license in the state of employment (when a state has licensure for dietitians) required ServSafe Food Handler certification required Additional food safety certification as required by the state or municipality

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Registered Dietitian credential and a current license in the state of Ohio. Additionally, a ServSafe Food Handler certification and any other state-required food safety certifications are mandatory.
