About this Position This position is applicable for Ultrasonographer, Tech 1 with less than two years of related work experience and Ultrasonographer, Tech 2 with two years or more of related work experience.

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve.

There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.

Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.

Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

Required Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in related field 2 years of relevant experience in ultrasound Required CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excluding Vascular Sites Upon Hire required And CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excluding Vascular Sites Upon Hire required CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Vascular Sites Upon Hire required Or CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Vascular Sites Upon Hire required And CRT-Breast (BR) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging Imaging Upon Hire required Or CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging Upon Hire required CRT-Pediatric Sonographer (PS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography HDVCH Sites Upon Hire preferred CRT-Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography MSK Sites Upon Hire preferred AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Requirements

Requires an associate's degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of relevant ultrasound experience. Must hold required certifications such as ARRT or ARDMS in relevant sonography specialties.
