Nursing Assistant Full-Time Day Shift and Night Shift available The Staffing Office plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal allocation of nursing and support staff across all departments. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
Provides direct patient care, including hygiene, toileting, feeding, positioning, and mobility assistance. Assists with patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and ambulation. Performs delegated clinical procedures, including blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture. Assist nurses and physicians with patient care and procedures. Documents patient care and reports changes or concerns to nursing staff. Provides compassionate, respectful, and responsive patient care. Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification (SRNA, CNA) required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education. Basic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.
