This role supports surgeons and perioperative staff by preparing the operating room, ensuring proper instrumentation and supplies, and maintaining sterile technique throughout all phases of the procedure. The technologist demonstrates competency in age‑specific care and adheres to established clinical standards, safety protocols, and Meritus Health values.
This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, team‑focused individual who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to excellence in patient care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Current BLS certification is required, and clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
