Unique Opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), Assistive Technology (AT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) therapy and training services to individuals with a variety of disabilities. Candidates must be willing and able to drive to different locations throughout Central Maryland and should be flexible with their schedule, caseload, and ability to work easily with others.
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree from ASHA accredited university Must have completed all clinical requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, as defined by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Have active state-level licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) General knowledge of AAC and AT devices Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Skill in oral and written communication. Experience with AAC/AT service provision preferred COVID-19 Vaccine Valid Driver's License Motor Vehicle Record with 2 or less points Ability to lift 25 Lbs. unassisted Audio-visual acuity to be able to read small print and perform perceptual diagnostic assessments. Ability to reach, stoop, crouch, push, walk, stand, and lift 25 pounds.
