Purpose

To assist department providers and nurses with pulmonary function testing (PFTs) to provide measurable feedback about the function of the lungs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform PFTs to be evaluated by physician to diagnose lung disorders
• Maintain pulmonary function equipment and supplies
• Completes reports for pulmonary function test and distribute to the ordering physicians.
• Participates in Sleep Study (including home studies) for the collection of data, and submitting information for billing.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Pulmonary work experience
• Active CMA license
