The Multi-modality Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and exams within the radiology department. They work under the supervision of the Radiology Administrative Director to provide high-quality clinical care to patients.
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Administrative Director of Technical Operations and Clinical Supervisor, the Multimodality Tech provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, supervisor, clinicians and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a multi modality technologist in the Imaging section performing procedures and exams. Exams and procedures will include diagnostic examinations.

Skills: Current BLS certification with American Heart Association A minimum of any two or more of the following modalities Radiography Technologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation.
For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 month of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license. Angiography (Interventional) Technologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation; and Preferred additional current ARRT registered certification in Vascular-Interventional radiography with RT(VI) designation and/or preferred additional current Cardiac-Interventional radiography with RT(CI) designation and/or preferred additional current Cardio-Vascular interventional radiography with RT(CV) designation; and Current ACLS certification with American Heart Association; obtained within 6 months of hire. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Nuclear Medicine with RT(N) designation; and/or Current NMTCB registered certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology with CNMT designation. Requirements

Range: $44.21- $65.71 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
