The 9CFAC unit at Froedtert Hospital is a 32-bed specialty unit caring for Bone Marrow Transplant, Cellular Therapy, hematology, oncology, and clinical trial patients receiving investigational treatments. Nurses benefit from low 3–4:1 patient ratios, including on nights, and lower patient turnover that allows them to build meaningful relationships with patients and caregivers. The FACT-accredited program offers specialized oncology and BMT education, professional development opportunities during work hours, and a knowledgeable, collaborative team focused on providing exceptional patient care.
